Johanna Spyri's classic tale is brought to life and updated in this heartwarming family film Heidi (Katy Kurtzmann) is living with her grandfather (Burl Lves) in the Swiss Alps. But her grandfather is slowly losing his eyesight and fears that he will no longer be able to take care of her.
